ABOUT SANTORINI.VIDEO

Cinematic storytelling. Structured execution. Personal responsibility

Our Santorini wedding videography team is led by Daria Meshkova, founder of Santorini.video. I’m Daria, and I bring over ten years of experience in video production and five years in photography to every celebration we capture.

For me, a wedding film begins with the people in front of the camera. Your voices, your humour, the way you look after each other and the reactions you might miss on the day all deserve a place in your story. Alongside these moments, I love creating portraits that make the most of Santorini’s light and landscape.

You don’t need to know how to pose. Most couples tell us they feel awkward on camera, and that is a perfectly normal place to start. We explain what to do before filming, offer simple prompts and show you a few moments on screen when possible. As you become more comfortable, there is more room for your own personality to come through.

I personally oversee every project, from our first conversation to the final film. Before the shoot, we discuss what matters to you, how you want the day to feel and which moments you most want to remember. That conversation guides both our filming and the edit.

WHAT WE FILM

Wedding Films, Private Vows and Everything Between

We film weddings, elopements, surprise proposals and vow renewals in Santorini. We also work with couples who are already married and want to exchange personal vows in a setting that feels special to them.

Each celebration calls for a different approach. A wedding with guests needs time for family reactions, speeches and the atmosphere of the evening. For a private vow exchange, we can focus more closely on your words, the quiet moments around them and a relaxed walk together.

Our experience filming in Santorini helps us plan around the practical details, too. Light, wind, walking distances, access and busy streets all influence what we can comfortably capture. We discuss these details before the day so that your filming schedule reflects the locations and experience you have chosen.

Alongside wedding films, we offer content creation for couples who want short videos to enjoy and share soon after their celebration. When you book both services, a dedicated videographer and content creator work together, with clear roles and a shared plan.

THE PEOPLE BEHIND YOUR FILM

A structured, experienced team focused on delivering results - not just content

Our Santorini wedding videography team works closely with your photographer, planner and other suppliers. We agree on timing, share the available space and coordinate important moments so that filming fits naturally into your celebration.

The right team size depends on your plans. A second videographer can capture events happening at the same time or a different reaction during the ceremony. However, an intimate terrace wedding also needs enough space for you and your guests. We help you choose coverage that suits the setting and the moments you value.

During portraits, we offer guidance when you need it. During your vows, we give you time to speak without interruption. Between those moments, we keep watching for the conversations, gestures and laughter that make the film yours.

Tell us what you are planning, whether it is a wedding with family and friends or a sunrise ceremony for two. We’ll help you work out the filming time, locations and coverage that make sense for your day.
