From Brazil, with Their Favourite People
Marilia and Paulus travelled from Brazil to Santorini to celebrate their wedding with family and friends. On September 13, 2024, they exchanged vows at Dana Villas in Firostefani, bringing their loved ones together on a white terrace overlooking the caldera and the Aegean Sea.
Their destination wedding paired the intimacy of a ceremony shared with close guests with the expansive views of the island. A softly draped canopy, flowers and candle decor shaped the setting, while sunset portraits gave the couple time together above the water. These elements became the visual foundations of their Dana Villas wedding film.
A Ceremony Framed by Sea and Sky
At Dana Villas, the open caldera view gives the ceremony a distinctive sense of space. For Marilia and Paulus, flowers and soft drapery framed the place where they stood, with their guests seated close by. The arrangement kept the celebration intimate while allowing the surrounding landscape to remain part of every wider view.
Santorini White Blue Wedding planned the celebration, with flowers and candle decor by Amela Santorini Flowers. Against the white terrace, these details brought texture to the setting and connected the ceremony styling to the architecture of the venue. Their wedding video brings those details into the story alongside the couple and the people who travelled to celebrate with them.
September Light over Firostefani
As the light softened, Marilia and Paulus stepped away for sunset portraits overlooking the water. This part of the day offered a different pace from the ceremony, giving them a few moments together within the landscape they had travelled so far to enjoy.
For a wedding film in Firostefani, that shift in light creates a natural change of mood. The openness of the caldera remains, while the softer evening tones bring attention to the couple. Connecting these portraits with the ceremony allows the film to move between the shared celebration and the quieter experience of being newly married.
Dana Villas Santorini Wedding Videography
A Dana Villas wedding brings several important elements into one setting: an intimate ceremony space, guests gathered nearby and a wide horizon beyond the terrace. Our approach to filming here considers all three. We want the couple to remember the view, the people around them and the small exchanges that made the ceremony their own.
For a destination wedding shared with family and friends, guest reactions are part of that story. Attentive coverage gives space to the people witnessing the marriage as well as the couple making their promises. In the edit, these perspectives help preserve the feeling of a celebration experienced together.
A brief fragment of Marilia and Paulus’s vows also brings their own voices into the wedding teaser. Alongside the ceremony images, it preserves a personal moment in its original sound, adding another way to return to the day.
A Shared Journey, Preserved on Film
As a Santorini wedding videographer, we approach each celebration with attention to its particular setting and pace. Marilia and Paulus’s wedding called for a balance between the gathering on the terrace, the floral details and the calm of their sunset portraits. Following that progression gives their cinematic wedding film a natural flow.
For couples travelling to Greece with their loved ones, a wedding video also becomes a record of the journey they shared. The ceremony, the familiar faces and the island surroundings belong together. Our destination wedding videography in Greece aims to preserve those connections through images, movement and sound.
Marilia and Paulus’s Santorini wedding film brings them back to Dana Villas: to the promises made above the caldera, the family and friends beside them and the evening light over the Aegean. It holds the details of a day that brought a little of Brazil to Firostefani.
