Ten Years Together, an April Wedding in Santorini
Taylah and Keanu’s Andromeda Villas elopement marked ten years together with an intimate April wedding in Santorini. They exchanged personal vows in Imerovigli, overlooking the caldera, then celebrated with a sunset dinner. Vanilla Sky Weddings planned the day. Our Santorini wedding videography team captured their ceremony, portraits and evening together.
Their celebration became two complementary edits: a short wedding teaser and a longer highlight film. Start with the teaser below, then watch the full highlight film at the end of their story.

An Andromeda Villas Elopement Above the Caldera
Andromeda Villas placed the open caldera and sea behind their ceremony. The terrace gave the celebration a clear sense of Santorini. Meanwhile, its intimate scale kept attention on the couple’s expressions, words and small gestures.
Celebrant John Kavallaris guided their ceremony and exchange of rings. Humour came naturally, alongside the emotion of making promises after a decade together. Those shifts between laughter and tenderness give a wedding film its personality.
Vanilla Sky Weddings coordinated the celebration, with photography by Sunlove Photo and videography by Santorini.video. On a small wedding day, close teamwork helps us make good use of the available time. It also gives the couple room to enjoy the experience while we capture it.
Personal Style and Wedding Portraits in Imerovigli
Taylah wore a strapless white gown with delicate earrings and short, styled hair. Julia Popova created her hair and makeup look. Keanu chose a blue suit and a white rose boutonniere. Her bouquet, by Amela Santorini Flowers, combined white flowers with greenery.
For the bridal portraits, a turquoise doorway offered a striking frame. Patterns of sunlight fell across the door, Taylah’s shoulders and her dress. The darker interior behind her brought attention to her face and the shape of the gown.
Elsewhere, we filmed the couple beside a white chapel overlooking the caldera. This wider view brought the island landscape into their story. Together, these settings added variety while keeping the couple at the centre of the images.
Our approach to Santorini elopement videography brings these different perspectives together. Close portraits capture expression and touch. Wider frames show the surroundings the couple chose for their wedding. Both help preserve the experience of being there.
Personal Vows After Ten Years Together
Their vows celebrated the everyday things that had shaped their relationship. Shared television evenings, thoughtful messages and treats after work all found a place in their words. After ten years, Keanu still described getting butterflies when Taylah looked at him.
Taylah expressed their mutual acceptance simply: “I love that you love me for me. And I love you for you.” Their promises looked towards growing old together, keeping each other laughing and offering support through difficult days.
These words give their wedding highlight film a personal thread. Alongside the ceremony and portraits, their voices preserve what this moment meant to them. Hearing those promises again brings another dimension to the images, especially as the years pass.
Planning a Santorini Wedding in Late April
Their wedding took place towards the end of April. Couples often ask us whether this is a good time to marry in Santorini. Taylah and Keanu enjoyed sunshine and warm evening light. However, one beautiful day cannot guarantee the weather for another April wedding.
From our experience filming on the island, April and October call for flexible outdoor plans. Rain or wind can affect a ceremony terrace, portrait walk or dinner outside. Discuss a sheltered alternative with your venue and planner before finalising the schedule.
A small elopement can sometimes move to another day more easily than a large wedding. Even so, every supplier needs to confirm availability. The venue, celebrant, photographer and videographer must all agree on the new date. Your travel plans also need to allow the change.
Quieter dates may offer savings on accommodation or venue hire. However, prices depend on each booking, and wedding suppliers do not always offer seasonal discounts. Compare your options and agree on weather alternatives in advance.
When planning an April elopement, speak with your Santorini wedding videographer about the filming schedule too. We can discuss portrait locations, light and how to adapt the route if conditions change. These conversations help make the plan more realistic before the day arrives.
From Wedding Portraits to a Sunset Dinner
The evening continued with an intimate dinner above the sea. As the light grew warmer, the white flowers and draped fabric took on a softer appearance. Beneath the floral canopy, we captured Taylah touching Keanu’s cheek as sunlight filtered through behind them.
For wedding videography in Imerovigli, changing light creates different opportunities throughout the day. Bright daytime portraits show the island’s colours and architecture. Later, warm evening light brings a different mood to close portraits of the couple.
Allowing time for both can add variety to a wedding film. For this Andromeda Villas elopement, the transition into evening also gave the story a natural ending. The ceremony led into a quieter celebration together, overlooking the caldera.
Two Films from Their Andromeda Villas Elopement
The teaser offers a short introduction to their celebration. It brings together selected moments in a compact edit that is easy to share. Meanwhile, the longer highlight film gives more space to their vows and the flow of the day.
Selected Santorini.video wedding packages include both formats. Your chosen package determines the filming hours and finished videos. Before booking, we confirm these details together so you know what to expect.
You can watch the teaser near the top of this page. The full wedding highlight film appears below, after the wedding team credits.
Planning Your Santorini Elopement Film
Our Santorini wedding videography services start with your plans and priorities. Tell us where you are getting married and which moments you want to preserve. We can then discuss coverage that suits the pace of your celebration.
For a wedding at Andromeda Villas, this may include the ceremony, portraits around Imerovigli and coverage through sunset. Planning these parts together helps you understand how much filming time to allow.
Contact Santorini.video with your date, venue and ideas. We will help you choose suitable coverage and discuss the finished films included in your package.
